Probiotic Supplements May Enhance Weight Loss

Probiotics are good bacteria, a lot of which naturally reside in the gut, but get deplenished because of a variety of improper health habits such as taking too much stress, eating unhealthy/ spicy food, or as a result of ingesting a lot of strong antibiotics, which - along with killing harmful disease-causing bacteria, also end up killing bacteria that actually help you in digesting food, through a symbiotic relationship. When that happens, it is necessary that you take a top-up of the good bacteria and get your system back in the mutually beneficial relationship with the ecosystem.

The way probiotics actually work with our bodies is that they reside in the gut and help in the digestion and nutrient absorption process. They make our system better equipped with the chemical compounds needed to break down complex foods such as complex carbohydrates and proteins, and further generate chemicals that aid in effective absorption of nutrients through our gut. During this phase, the bacteria survive by consuming some of the complex foods and releasing simpler forms of that - which are easily absorbed by our bodies. This is a regular process that runs on repeat, right from the time we are a baby.

In addition to this, studies have also found that some strains of probiotics have benefitted users with by helping in weight loss. Probiotics Manufacturers have known for a long time that people with a healthy weight have a different type and amount of gut bacteria in comparison to overweight or obese individuals. Dedicated bacillus facilities experimenting on mice, regulating the type and amount of bacteria between obese mice and healthy weight mice, seemed to actually change their weights.

Even in human studies at dedicated bacillus facilities, certain types of bacteria - have been found to ‘extract’ fewer amounts of calories from the food we eat, thereby helping with reducing weight. Further, there are other ways that probiotics affect our systems leading to weight loss.

Probiotics release enzymes that improve metabolism: According to a study, probiotics have been found to help in the production of an enzyme - butyrate-induced GLP-1 - that controlled how calories were absorbed by the body. By reducing caloric uptake the enzyme helped reduce weight in obese individuals. Probiotics Manufacturers found that these probiotics were extremely safe for use, with zero to few side-effects, rendering them a very useful weight loss supplement, as compared to several other synthetic chemical supplements available in the market, for this purpose.

Probiotics increase the production of proteins that reduce fat storage: According to another study, probiotics such as Lactobacillus  paracasei was found to enhance the levels of angiopoietin-like 4 protein, ANGPTL4, which worked to reduce how fat was stored by our bodies, leading to reduced fat storage, and thereby lessened the increase of weight. There are several dedicated bacillus production facilities that continue to research further on these effects, to attain definitive results.

Reduce inflammation in the brain: There are also studies indicating the effects of brain inflammation on obesity. Probiotics help in this direction as well, keeping inflammation in check, thereby helping the body lose weight effectively.

It is important to note that the studies on probiotics at dedicated bacillus facilities, such as  are fairly new, and the results are limited. Having said that there is definitive evidence from the few studies that have been conducted that probiotics have several positive effects for our bodies, with hardly any side-effects.

If you think you might be allergic to any probiotic substances, you must make sure to consult with your doctor before you choose any one form. Also, choose to purchase probiotics only from a manufacturer with a strong reputation in the industry, and experience in producing high quality products.
